POKOTABI / Tanmen Daicho
タンメン ダイチョー
Tanmen Daicho in Kitasuna, Koto Ward, serves comforting Chinese fare from signature tanmen and half-fried-rice sets to spicy miso ramen, stir-fries, and set meals.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Bearing tanmen in its name, Tanmen Daicho is an unassuming neighborhood Chinese eatery rooted in Koto Ward's Kitasuna district. At the head of the menu stands its signature tanmen—vegetable-loaded noodle soup—alongside set combinations like half fried rice with tanmen, making it a reliable stop when you want a hearty lunch or dinner.
The noodle roster ranges widely across salt, miso, green onion, and spicy miso varieties, through to Cantonese-style noodles and tsukemen, letting diners match their selection to the day's craving. Beyond soup noodles, the wok-tossed dishes and stir-fries are just as appealing. Everyday set meals including stir-fried vegetables, liver and leek, or pork and vegetable stir-fry make it easy to drop in for a straightforward daily meal.
Open until 23:00 at night, the restaurant also functions comfortably as an evening tavern, welcoming diners who order cold bottled beer, draft beer, lemon highballs, or azuki highballs alongside chilled tofu and wok-fried sides. It accommodates solo walk-ins effortlessly, and smartphone QR payment options like PayPay and Rakuten Pay are accepted.
